I found a rain break and played a litle bit.
One question about mower motor: I have 2 mower motors. Original shop motors.
But in the moment the gras is a litle bit longer or wet i got Error Mower. I adjust the power in Settings to 100W
but this is not enough. Is there a way to put in for example 150W or higher? The mower Error stops the robot complete.
In the past with a different firmware i think that the mower motor only stop a short time after reaching the max power. Then the motors automatic start again. Is there a chance to get this function?

In the past i did exactly the same as you and increase the max motor power but its A VERY BAD IDEA. I finally destroy the Motor Driver
Normaly you have 3 stages on power management 2 are softwares (Pfod setting motor max power) ,at 80% to start the spirale and 100% to stop for 1 minute the motor and restart automaticly .
You need to see this behaviour before the last stage.
The last stage it's better to never go in it, It's the driver error itself and need a full restart of the mower.
So better to use a big thermal mower for the first mowing of the season and after leave the robot only cut some cm each day in auto mode.
In the code , accel of the motor (during the 2 start second) sometime we don't read the power to avoid stop on sense peak ,but again it's very dangerous if the blade is stop by piece of wood for example ,it can after 20 automatic starting try : destroy motor or driver.
For a long life of the driver and motor ,try to find the correct Max power to avoid hardware protection (Same for drive motor)
100W or 150W are not possible with the PCB1.3 motor driver.
How have you connected the 2 motors ??
Driver motor are only 2 or 3 A for each canal so 48W max for each motor
My PowerMax value is 24.2 watt.with one motor and the paralell shunt on the 2 driver output (original config)
If you put 100 W the soft wait 80 W to start spirale but certainly at 30W the driver itself is in error and it's certainly why you never see the 2 first stage (Spirale and auto restart)
The error you have is maybe hardware protection on the driver see pinMotorMowFault and driver datasheet, but it's Strange that you can restart without reboot ?
Or again a bug in the soft

Very good question. I have often same problem. I have 5 islands
I have seen here one solution from one people. He said that we have to place a big flower cup or a big stone at one end of the circle. When the bumper will hit this part the mower will stop circle.
But i think this is not a nice solution. Perhaps we can analyse the Odometry on both wheels. If there is a longer time a kind of circle movement the mower can stop and turn for example 90 degrees away.
This is only an idea. Actually i dont know if it is possible...
Obstacle settings are default for now but islands are quite close main perimeter. If placing obstacle right it might work without changing settings. another island is perfect circle around well, diameter 1,6 m. second one is not so round around mountain pine, diameter 1-2 m
I have pn5180 reader, 7 cards and one tag
PiArdu freeze after running few hours or so. What logs it should write to ..PiArdumower/log/ dir? Today only files changed is PlotBat.txt and PlotPeri.txt
/var/log/ theres nothing usefull.. Freeze time is showing bottom left on UI piaedu screen. Due keeps going and mower work. Also if I restart piardu it works again few hours.
I have a similar issue in the past. with the service mode so i use a normal start in autostart (see file setup raspberry.txt in txt file on github)
BUT there is also a bug in old version
Test the last version PyArdu205 from the rfid branch ,simply open it and save it as PiArdu.py
or if you have your own one remove the line: checkSerial() after the try: into the def send_serial_message(message1): it was a bug that overload the cpu usage by create an infinte loop with tkinter.
And tell me if it solve the issue.
The issue is that the mower need to have access all the time to the Net over Wifi and unfortunatly it's not my case.
I have a question concerning the remote access to the pi over Wifi.
I use VNC on my phone or the tablet but it's not really easy to manage the mouse with a tactile tablet or phone.
Do you think other software can do that ?
